Obninsk Institute for Nuclear Power Engineering (OINPE) of the National Nuclear Research University "MEPHI" and Central Institute for Continuing Education&Training (CICET) are pleased to announce the 12th International Conference "Nuclear Power Safety and Nuclear Education" to be held in Obninsk, Russia’s first Science City, on Oct 04 – Oct. 07, 2011.

For everyone who takes a professional look at the problems of nuclear power, this event offers a unique forum for exchanging opinions and getting up-to-date with both fundamental and applied aspects of NP safety, ranging from fuel management and environmental risk to NPP equipment diagnostics and training NPP personnel. The core of the conference program covers a wide range of issues, such as development of innovative inherently safe reactors, development of more effective systems for NPP equipment diagnostics, training a new generation of the NPP operation and maintenance personnel, new concepts of NPP management and man-machine interface at NPPs, assessment and management of the environmental and economic risks involved in NPP operation. Our event caters to both industry and academia. Special prominence is given to presentations by young scientists, as well as graduate and postgraduate students.

The working languages of the conference are Russian and English
